What the site is
Welcome to Knanaya Connections, a project to create a directory of Knanaya families and the interconnections between them. As the Knanaya community is expanding and dispersing, people with knowledge of the families, their relationships and their history are becoming fewer and fewer. This site has been set up with a view to document these, by consolidating the fragmented information that is available with the members of the community
It has been conceived and designed as a collaborative project. The hope is that enough people will consider it a useful idea and contribute the information available with them.
Content
The site is organised based on the families and its members and the relationships among them. It is fully searchable and families, members of families and details of individuals are all viewable. As of now it contains very limited data, consisting only of families and persons connected to me personally or information gathered informally
